We are thrilled to announce that Wayaj is a finalist in the Travel category of the Be The Change Awards 2019!
The awards aim to recognize independent, ethical and sustainable brands that are striving to have a positive impact on communities, people and the planet. Organized by Ethical Hour and Where Does It Come From?, the first ever Be The Change Awards brings together businesses from around the world across 12 sectors.
Wayaj was started less than two years ago with the idea to help eco-conscious travelers to make the right choice when traveling, while at the same time give more visibility to all those hospitality entrepreneurs and initiatives that recognize the ever-increasing importance of Sustainable Development Goals and are willing to invest in them. We believe that sustainable tourism and travel are a great way to bring more prosperity to communities around the world and to promote more understanding among the peoples who share our planet. We believe that each of us has a part to play to bring about the change necessary to create a better world and avoid the planetary disasters that scientists are increasingly forecasting.
The winners of the first Be The Change Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on April 12th, 2019, until then Wayajers can support their favorite travel app and these awards by voting for the People’s Choice Awards.
